Alien, a movie about a group of intersteller travelers answering a distress call on a distant planet where there is already a ship there. The crew comprises of your typical gung ho captain, the first officer, Ripley (Sigorney Weaver) and several other crew who throughout the film die horrible deaths. In their investigations they find eggs of some alien race. Once one of the face huggers attaches itself to a crew member and spawns an alien more come about. This score composed by Jerry Goldsmith is very iconic, creepy, sweeping and moody. It really introduces you to the world of Alien and leads you through a story in music until the climax where Ripley escapes. Here is the Link to Amazon.
